In March, the Catalagan Solar Farm, one of the world’s largest photovoltaic systems with string inverters, was connected to the grid on the Philippine island of Luzon. The 63 MW plant supplies the western part of the province of Batangas with solar power. In addition to more than 200,000 solar modules, 830 Sunny Tripower 60 and 23 inverter managers from SMA were installed on the approximately 160-hectare site.
